I attempted to use the Luther Seminary Library Writing & Style Guide page
to download EndNote. I used this webpage
https://resources.luthersem.edu/endnote/ with the option for a pc. I have
referred to the additional instructions and directions on the resources
page.
Unfortunately, however, when I tried to download the program to my pc, a
prompt came up that required I type in a product key in order to use it.
I called the phone number given on Luther's site for help from Endnote's
makers ( 1-800-336-4474). The customer services representative I reached
told me to contact Luther because the prompt asking for a product key
should not have appeared if I was accessing Endnote through the Seminary's
website.
Is there a product key # I don't know about that I need to access Endnote?
Is the link on Luther's site mal-functioning? Any suggestions?
Click on the downloaded file, right click and choose the Extract function for this file. If you do this you will not need the product key. Call me if you have further questions.
