For book material, try a WorldCat catalog search.  It's best to use the Advanced Search mode to enter keyword "children" and "divorce" narrowing to the Subject field.  Look at the assigned subject headings of the records that are retrieved from the search and choose the best ones to do another search based on those headings, e.g.  "Children of divorced parents--psychology."

For articles, several good databases to try would be:
The ATLA Religion Database
Academic Search Premier
Expanded Academic Index
using the basically the same procedure with books above.  These databases are linked under Research & Resources=>Databases A-Z on the library website.

Or, try keywords doing an "Everything" search from the library website search box. This search will retrieve records for both books and journals.
